Background
inSight began speaking with CEO Matt Tirman back in early 2011 on the investment landscape in East Africa. After several weeks of discussions, Strategic Social decided to employ inSight to help identify specific opportunities in the Media and ICT space within East Africa with the final objective to establish a fund in this region.

inSight has identified to date several opportunities and, working closely with Strategic Social, further vetting their value vis-a-vis Strategic Social's investment criteria and long-term goals for the region.
Status
inSight has completed its investment report providing major trends and on-the-ground perceptions of the media and ICT sector in East Africa. SSH is now considering its next moves in the region.
